People are always calling the Trix figure either Crazy Kat or Mickey Mouse. Nice to see someone getting it right. Has anybody seen the fire chief car with battery powered headlights? Perry

Yes, I have one. Richard Mueller has a very nice one also. It doesn't show up often. There were many Trix toys made by Gong Bell. You're right. They are often misidentified ad Crazy Kat  or Mickey Mouse. They seem to have been created by Harold Allen at Gong Bell. The name Harold D. Allen shows on many of the toys of this era by Gong Bell and also on the patents of many toys the company produced.
