The building on the left was the East Hampton Bell Co., later owned by Gong Bell. The road in the foreground is Walnut, with South Main Street in the distance. To the right far side of the pond was the location of Watrous Manufacturing. The pond was later filled in for Gong Bells expansion, and the Watrous Mfg. Co. site was folded into Gong Bell.

There seems to be a group of people standing in front of the building to the far right. This view was taken from the height of the Railroad trestle.
