Clifford M. Watrous heads for his job at N. N. Hill

You never know what you will find when surfing the web. I came across this photo of Clifford Watrous hailing a ferry. It's in the Connecticut Historical Society archive. I sent the link to Ted Willerford, grandson of Clifford, and he responded that he had donated this photo and others to the Historical Society. He said that Clifford and George Tingley were good friends, and that George was quite a character. George always wore a cape about town, and he and Clifford they played music together.
